South Mountain Park and Preserve has over 51 miles of primary trails for you and your pup to explore. Not a hiker? Take the Summit Road to Dobbins Lookout for amazing valley views or to Gila Lookout for a view of the Gila River Valley.

Desert Breeze Park

660 North Desert Breeze Blvd E, Chandler, AZ, US, 85226 

Leashed dogs are welcome to join their humans on the walking trail around the lake at Desert Breeze Park. Interpretive trail markers identify plants while area wildlife can be seen throughout the park. The park also includes a playground, ball fields, picnic areas, tennis courts, a splash pad, and restrooms. Dogs must be leashed at all times throughout the park.

The dog-friendly trails in Papago Park are generally known to be easy treks with little elevation gain making it the perfect place for families or beginner hikers. Phoenix leash laws apply to all trails in Papago Park, and pets must be leashed at all times.
